Asiana Beauty Box

Just a normal day of me scrolling through make-up websites to see what’s new or up and coming. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular as I’m pretty stocked up on everything, but there’s no harm in looking right.

I checked a few sites before coming on to Mac. Now I’ve never really used Mac, unless I’ve had my make done for an occasion. I don’t know why, I hear amazing things about it but I suppose every time I go to a Mac stall it’s so busy so I can’t get matched and the impatient person I am,  I just walk away.

Anyway I was scrolling away and looked in the What’s New tab and saw the Asiana Beauty Box. With Diwali literally around the corner I was definitely intrigued.

It retails for £35, which sounds expensive but honestly you get so much for your money!

There are 4 make up treats and 4 skin care treats.

Make Up Treats

Estee Lauder – Pure Colour Envy Lash Multi Effects Mascara – ( Travel Size)

Firstly I love the packaging of this, it looks more like a lipstick and it has a very expensive feel to it. It’s perfect for your make up bag, so any Diwali or Halloween parties you have coming be sure to pop this in your handbag.

Clinique – Chubby Stick Intense Broadest Berry – Full Size!

I love love love chubby sticks! I had one years ago which I used down to the end and that never happens with me….mostly because I lose it before that happens. The Clinique chubby sticks have a creamy texture and feel very nourishing on the lips. Also loving the berry colour for Autumn, definitely ties in with my lip faves.

Bobbi Brown – Ink Liner Blackest Black – Full Size!

I can’t even lie, this is the product I was most excited about. I’ve just started making an effort again and putting liner on, even managing an even flick now and again. I am so excited to see how this last and how it applies, as so far I’ve found a lot of these pen style liners struggle to apply over eyeshadow.

Smashbox -Photo Op Eyeshadow Cinnamon – Full Size!

I think the only Smashbox product I’ve tried is the blue primer, given to me by my sister in law and it was pretty good. I’ve never really repurchased anything because in all honesty I’ve never really heard anyone speak too much about it. So I’m going into using the eyeshadow with a neutral perspective. I love the colour I’ve been given and can’t wait to create a warm smoky eye with it.

Skin Care Treats

Clinique – Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector & Optimizer – Sample

Now this looks a little technical, but I’m excited to try it out. It helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots and blemish marks so this could be just thing I need to hide my horrendous under eye darkness.

Origins – Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream To Brighten and Depuff – Travel Size

This another brightening cream, specifically for the eye area. I tried a little of this on the back of my hand its a really nic texture, not oily like some under eye creams I’ve tried before. There’s no real scent to it which is nice, as I’m always conscious about things around my eyes.

Darphin – Hydraskin Light Gel Cream – Travel Size

This says it’s great for normal to combination skin, meaning I may have to be careful as my skin is generally oily. Again, I tried this on the back of my hand and it definatley feels moiturising….maybe I’ll have to use it in small quantities?! I’ll see how I get on with it.

Mac – Prep + Prime Natural Radiance, Yellow – Travel Size

I actually got 2 of these, as I spent £35 you also get a free sample. Previously when I’ve had my make done the artist has used this on my skin and my make up hasn’t budged! I can’t wait to try this as I’m definitely in the market for a great primer!

Overall for £35 I’m really impressed with everything I got. As well as the products which included 3 full size make up items, you also get multiple discounts on the included information card inside. Such as complimentary party make up at Bobbi Brown….so the benefits are definatley outside the box too!

I can’t wait to get stuck in and have a play, I’m slow becoming obsessed with beauty boxes and subscription boxes so if any one has any recommendations please let me know.
