Yet again I’m late to the party. Mainly because I’ve been busy at work, starting a new job and taking in all that information is tiring however I am massively enjoying myself so it’s all worth it!
This month Glossybox had a Unicorn or Mermain (I think) themed box and I got the unicorn! If nothing else in the box is good at least the box is a keeper!!
Makeup Revolution – Mermaids vs Unicorns Eyeshadow Palette
Soooooo pretty! Especially just before Halloween could you imagine the possibilities!
The colours are all shimmery, so although it suggests you can wear it all over the lid I think this would be ideal for along the lash line maybe. I’m especially excited to try the berry-ish colour in the middle, I think a beautiful autumn smoky eye with that would look great.
This a full size item which retails for £4, one of the reasons I actually really enjoy Makeup Revolution is because the prices are so affordable but the quality is so good!
Sleek – Creme to Powder Blush – Carnation
Hmmmm I’ve never really used to cream blushes….maybe because I don’t know the best way to use it?!
Like do I stick a brush in there? Is it better to dab with my fingers?! As always I will give it a go and see how I get a long with it and also with the colder weather maybe the creme to powder finish will give that wintery glow…..maybe?
Sleek again is one of the affordable quality brands and this particular blush retails for £5.99 and did I mention this is a full size product too.
Kawaii Enterprise – Brush Cleansing Egg
I love this and can’t wait to use this to clean my brushes! I can’t be the only person who gets pure satisfaction from cleaning my brushes right?
I love the different textures on here so I know it will take away all the make up and leave my brushes silky and soft. I use baby shampoo to clean my brushes at the moment is that weird?
This retails for £7.99 which is kind of the norm for cleansing egg/mitts.
Lord & Berry – Magic Brow Perfect Eyebrow Pencil
So I don’t actually fill my brows in, 50% I’m too lazy and 50% they’re pretty damn thick all by themselves. So again this might be one I give away only because it seems like a quality product and I wouldn’t want it getting lost in the narnia of my make up drawers!
It retails for £14 which I think is expensive, but again I don’t use many brow products so this could be normal. I just think for that price maybe more product.
Bang Beauty – Cream Colour – Dolce Pink
Another cream product! This is going to be a fun testing month!
It says it’s a multi use product for eyes, cheeks and lips. I couldn’t imagine using this on my eyes but lips maybe. I’m not a massive fan of the colour I got but the textures pretty nice. It’s not sticky which means in this windy weather my hair won’t stick to my lips!
This is another full size which retails for £19.50. I know it’s a multi use product but if I saw this on sale I probably wouldn’t pick this up for that price.
All in all, a decent box. All 5 items were full size and different. I’m looking forward to experiment with the eyeshadow palette and the Sleek blusher.
